Machine Wiring Package

Our "mechanical engineering dominated" company is allowing the electrical group to purchase some software to produce machine wiring diagrams. The only stipulation is that it has to be low cost. Can anyone throw out any products? I'm not looking for schematic software, just a low end wiring program that maybe will even help us to make wireboards for our harnesses.
