Hello all- Just an FYI... I have taken a position causing me to leave the SMT/Electronics Manufacturing Industry. I will still be in Technology but geared more towards the service industry.

I guess, between 2000 and now about 100,000 employees in electronics lost their job in US. Does anyone have more accurate numbers? It used to be fun before 2k.

I have been in manufacturing for 16+ years and just got tired of grazing for jobs.My last position the manufacturing went to Asia. I was proud to say I was still in SMT through 1999-2004 with the down turn. I wanted something new and different...
