Sorry,

I missed out a few point.

Is Asahi solder really that popular, even my friends told me that although pricing is higher but able to achieve excellent result.

If you have any paste recommendation for my 0402 and 0201 component.

Frankly speaking, do you have 0201 component reflow with Asahi products other other solder.

I would really like to hear your view

Chris (if thats your real name),

For 0201 I only use Asahi from Singapore. If it is 0402 Asahi is by far the best. Kester is mainly used for 0603 and Indium is a good choice for BGA's only (and some QFP's). Just my frank opinion. Hope the information is useful and you would go out and buy tons of Ashai with confidence.

Damn, and all this time we've been doing 0201 and 0402 here with Indium and we thought we were building defect free on these. I'm going to switch right now! What paste should I use for SO8s?

Don't mind Sam Adam's and Asahi beer... I'll send you a tantelising pint of Guinness, cool and with a fresh creamy head if you can help me with the following.... What do I do about lead free stencil design? Is there a guideline anywhere? Most lead free solder companies seem to say 1:1 is okay... can anyone shed any light on the subject? (PS: I don't work for Guinness!) Cheers!

I think we've become hardened cynics. We should give Mr Ong a chance.

I mean, it's obviously just pure co-incidence that Asahi's assistant sales manager in Malaysia is a Mr Ong, and that the distributor Channel Technologies in Singapore has a Mr Chris Ong working for them.
