I need a knowledgable technician to do a l-r r-l change over on a jot buffer. we can either send the machines to you, or we will be willing to fly you down and cover expenses. if anyone knows someone please send me their phone number, and email.

I wish that was true... Tom originally quoted me 500$ to do the switch over 2 weeks ago. Now i call him and he has changed the price to 1250$ each. and i bought the units from him so you would think things would work out differently.

can you just turn the buffer round, the control panel might be at the other side but thats not a big deal is it.

I do not know JOT conveyors but I do know other manufacturers. Based on that I do not believe this alone will work: -fixed rail on wrong side probably -sensors for board control in wrong location -smema ports may be to far from where they need to connect.

Is there a need for a professional conveyor swapper? Could I start my own business and make enough money doing something like this? I haven't worked on this conveyor but I'm sure I could figure it out.

As it was said previous it's probably only a couple board detect sensors and the motor direction. If any manuals came with the machine there is probably something on a schematic or drawing that shows what the differences are.

Tom at Recon provided him instructions on how to do the change over. Shouldn't be too difficult if you already know what to do.
