Hi, I`m using Sn633-2T-E solder paste that is specially formulated for fine pitch where 12mil pitch is applicable.I have the data sheet of this paste but the squeegee speed is not defined. What is the expected speed for solder paste printing process?

Milroy

Squeege speeds can vary from .5 in/min to 6-8 in/min. It really depends on what the prints look like. For ultra fine pitch I usually start at .8 in/min and take it from there.

Minutes, seconds, something like that! It is seconds, sorry. I hope Milroy doesn't have any issues with process speed (12-20 min. print time per my way)

I wouldn't expect them to define squeegee speeds any more than they would tell me which printer, squeegee blade, or surface metallization to use.

Start at 1"/sec. and see what it looks like. Try 2"/sec and .5"/sec. and see if they're any worse or better. Find the fastest speed you can get consistently good prints. Pretty simple process.

boy, one little mistake! BTW I was serious. I accidentally typed minutes instead of seconds.
