Seeking for help on MPM UP2040 | 18 October, 2005

Currently, I purchased a unit of Vintage 96, MPM UP2040, but it didn't come with any user manual, electronic diagram and part list. I have checked with the factory who sold this machine to me that they lost it sometime ago and don't have any copy. Now, I hope to see if anyone who have those document in CD and can send me the document via email or let me know where can I download those documents. Will be very appreciate for your help.

MPM/Speedline will sell you a complete set of manuals in hardcopy or CD. Cost is $500-$750. Since you bought the machine used and likely very cheap you should be able to afford that. Talk to your local rep. in HK.

Have contacted AmericanTech which is the authorized dealer for MPM machines in Asia district. Because I didn't purchase machine from them and not their customer, they seem to be unwilling to sell me any parts for MPM machine. But I will try to contact Speedline, US, if they can ship me the order to Asia.

Yes you need to talk to Speedline directly because they will sell you parts for their machines irregardless if you buy it new or used. That goes for Electrovert, MPM, Camalot etc. Good people to deal with. I don't understand Americantech's stance...but anyways you don't need them.

Nope. Speedline does not charge a registration fee to buy parts. Anyone can buy them. Now service and support......that requires registration. My point was the gentleman will need parts in the future and when he does he will likely be down hard. Better he figures it out now on the manuals instead of later when it will cost him excessive downtime.
