Sales Representative

We are looking for a full time field sales representative to join our growing team of professionals offering manufacturing equipment and supplies to the Electronics Manufacturing Industry. This is a new sales position that has been created due to growth and expansion into the State of Florida by of one of the country’s leading Manufacturer’s Representative Firms. This sales position will cover the entire State of Florida. Experience in Electronics Manufacturing/Test or Repair is heavily recommended. Prior exposure to any of the following technologies is a plus: Surface Mount, Soldering, Test Repair. Sales experience is beneficial however WE WILL TRAIN the right candidate. This is a paid position with a base salary, plus a liberal commission program. Some travel is required and 1-3 overnights per week can be expected.
Responsibilities will include the following:

· Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential new customers.

· Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying customer needs and supplier products.

· Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers and assists customers in the selection of and development of ROI calculations to aid in justifying the purchase of capital equipment and supplies.

· Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as last action reports, weekly work plans, and territory analyses.

· Visits customers and prospects with Suppliers and their Technical personnel during the sales and post sales processes.

· Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.

· Solves customer issues by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending principal sales meetings; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and National Trade Show attendance.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Base Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year plus Commission (expected first year earnings to be in the range of $50K-$70K), Paid Vacation, 401k, Profit Sharing. All travel and business-related expenses are paid by the company.
Required education:

High school diploma plus some Industry, or technical experience preferred. Familiarity with computers and programs like Word, Excel, and Database/CRM systems required. Experience in Electronics Manufacturing/Test or Repair is heavily recommended. Prior exposure to any of the following technologies is a plus: Surface Mount, Soldering, Test Repair.
