Sales Enablement & Proposals Manager- REMOTE- Anywhere in USA.

Basic Purpose of the Position:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Enablement and Proposal Manager to lead and manage our most challenging RFI/RFP proposals. The Proposal Manager will report to the Director of Marketing & Sales Operations but will have to work across all global locations supporting the Business Development team and efforts, positioning our best foot forward to facilitate growth, and bid wins.

This person will play a key role in developing a ‘knowledge base” across all global locations specific to 3 large segments, Aerospace & Defense, Medical & Life Science, and Instrumentation and Controls. This person will be responsible for the strategy, development, and project management / operational oversight of all proposal bids including the initial process implementations.

This is a new position; therefore, we are looking for someone who can build our proposal process from scratch. You will work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the business, including with Business Development, Marketing, Procurement, Legal, and Executive Leadership. This role requires someone who has exceptional project management skills, stakeholder management, and program development experience and has the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects at once.

The ideal candidate has sales operations and/or sales enablement experience, has excellent verbal and written skills, takes a collaborative approach, and has a strong interest in doing work that drives results.

Primary or Major Responsibilities:

Manage Request for Information and Request for Proposals across a variety of markets and products
Manage projects with Diverse Cross-Functional Teams (legal, business development, executive management, etc.)
Perform initial RFP Analysis and recommend bid/no-bid decision
Respond to RFPs meeting deadlines through the assessment of requirements, utilization and coordination of resources, and task prioritization
Ability to complete RFPs with minimal supervision
Create, Implement and Maintain a Response Library
Maintain and Update Vendor Registrations in Coordination with Legal Department
Help develop and manage a quote proposal template for branding consistency
Manage and provide on time metrics for all quotes to ensure we are meeting customer due dates

B.A. or B.S in a relevant field
Minimum of 5-7 years of proposal writing including federal government contracting proposals
Experience in technical writing– especially in government contracts
Ability and willingness to both manage large proposals and write quality content
A successful history of proposal management, volume management, and wins
An understanding of government RFPs and the source selection proposal evaluation processes
Experience with ISO 9001 in government contracting, specific to BD processes
Experience developing and modifying processes for BD and proposal development/management
Strong familiarity with proposal management tools, including SharePoint, Salesforce, MS Office, and MS Teams
Must have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external contact.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
Ability to create and manage a proposal and artifact library of documents and graphics for reuse
