Pick & Place L3 Operator

The Pick & Place L3 Operator ensures that the daily work activities for the Pick & Place Component Assembly Department are performed in accordance with all applicable procedures.

Responsibilities:

To meet the weekly output goals that are established for the department.
Submit to Supervisor or Manager any corrections or improvements.
Ensure Company procedures and policies are followed and enforced.
Responsible to keep work area neat and clean.
Provide on the job training.
Verify effectiveness of member training.
Promote ISO 9000 awareness.
To work in accordance with all Company procedures.
To operate the machines and technically create new program.
To modify existing program.
Troubleshooting machines and programs to meet requirements.
Assign job tasks.
Move in/out run to next station.
Check quantity and sign drawings and /or QC sheets.
Visually inspect and check all work.
To follow daily scheduling requirements.
Move in runs and issue components to pick & place
  Maintain inventory levels of materials used
Added responsibilities may be assigned by Supervisor based on your abilities and company needs

Supervisory Responsibilities (list if applicable, include authority):

  Ability to stop production runs with Alert / Problem and advise MPE, QA and Supervisor to take action.
Qualifications
Knowledge (level of education, experience and training an individual must have at minimum to be considered qualified for the position)

Ability to read, write and orally communicate in English.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must have completed course in Supervisory training.
Must work in Pick & Place Component Assembly Department or outside related experience for 1 year.
Use of a microscope..
Ability to read and understand an assembly drawing..
Use of a soldering iron.
Basic computer knowledge required
To perform solder screen printing (DEK)
To perform oven profile and operate reflow oven.
To operate the Separation machine.
To operate the Pick & Place machine
Ability to modify and upgrade pick & place program
To operate the dicing machine
Ability to create new dicing program

Skills (specific skills (ability to create, manipulate, utilize spreadsheets, word processing programs, etc.)

Must be detail-oriented
Willingness to learn new tasks for further growth
