Job Description:

Since 1993, CAMI Research has designed and manufactured the CableEye® PC-Based, Continuity & HiPot, Cable and Harness Test System, a professional test instrument used to check multiconductor cables found in a wide range of equipment. CableEye testers take full advantage of the PC's color graphic display, high-speed computation, and mass storage to provide a complete cable and wire harness management system.

We provide these advanced wiring analyzers and guided assembly systems to discerning global customers who require accurate and dependable assembly and testing in order to deliver top quality product. They are used for countless test applications of products destined for Transportation, Aerospace, Energy, Appliances, Medical Devices, Defense, Robotics, Telecom and much more.

Customer use our testers for design, assembly, prototyping, production, and QC to measure, display, and document basic electrical properties such as continuity, resistance, and dielectric breakdown.

Electronics & Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a capable, organized, responsible individual to assemble electronic chassis and cables, solder and desolder components, and inspect workmanship in finished products. Full-time Mon-Fri 7am-3pm, flex hours, medical and dental benefits, retirement plan available. Applicant must be detail-oriented and methodical, and be honest, reliable, and dependable. Minimum five years electronics assembly experience necessary, with good references. Convenient to Rt.2 in Acton Center.

Required

  • Five years electronics assembly experience
  • Experience soldering and desoldering through-hole and SMT devices
  • Experience repairing pcbs
  • Experience assembling electronic chassis and cables
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken) in English
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID with booster
  • US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
  • Able to attend in-person interview


Desirable

  • Experience with operating soldering machines
  • Experience inspecting workmanship
  • Knowledge of IPC standards and ISO 9001 requirements
  • Certified training in soldering
  • Experience documenting assembly procedures
  • Two year Technical Degree in electrical/electronic subjects
