The college offers a wide range of programming - Business, Technology, Community Services and Health Sciences, Fashion and Creative Technology, Graphic Communications, Language Training, and Hospitality/Tourism. There's a program to meet every need.

George Brown offers flexible learning opportunities. Students can choose from among more than 100 full-time programs, hundreds of part-time courses and many programs offered through distance education. Full-time programs vary in length from certificates of less than a year to two- and three-year diploma programs. Many George Brown programs count towards a university degree.

George Brown takes pride in its strong connections to the world of work, whether we are finding field placements for our nursing students at leading hospitals, or developing a new technology program that fulfills a future need. Advisory boards, made up of experts from every program field, provide us with input and feedback on our programs and how to keep them current. Every program at George Brown College provides a rich mixture of classroom and applied learning. At George Brown, we place great emphasis on making each student feel like a unique individual. Classes and labs are usually of a size that encourage close interaction among students and their teachers. Team-based learning through project work, case studies, and group assignments is used in many classrooms. As well, there is a workplace component so that students graduate with the skills and attitudes required in today's workplace.
