99-0012 - Pin Grid Array Extractors Description:

Pin Grid Array Extractors are available in two sizes and provide a quick and safe way to extract Pin Grid Array components from their sockets. All component sizes can be accommodated, as the tool is available in two or four grip models. Adjusting the extractor to match any Pin Grid Array dimensions is done using the fully adjustable grip claws with screw lockdowns. During extraction, the grip claws hug the socket from underneath the edges of the component. Any possible damage caused by the component slipping out is thereby prevented. The extractor gently and evenly removes the Pin Grid Array from the socket as the operator turns the extraction screw.

In order to protect the sensitive IC-components from electrostatic charges, all parts of the Inserter are electrically conductive, with a surface resistance of < 10000 oms
