SMT Stencils Description:

We use fine grain stainless steel for the base of all our Stencils, All Stencils are cut on LPKF lasers which ensures the best quality for optimum paste release.

Our Stencils are offered in thicknesses from .0015" to .0020". Our laser cut Stencils can be used for all SMT applications including all fine pitch, ultra fine pitch and micro BGA applications.

We also manufacture Step Stencils, Step stencils allow for multiple paste thickness deposits with one single stencil. This technology also allows for relief on the board side of stencils.

Metal Etch Services also offers Nano Shield treatment for our Stencils. Nano Shield is a protective coating at a molecular level whichrepels Flux and solder paste. This treatment applied to the contact side of the stencil results in considerably less cleaning cycles, longer stencil life and reduction in the occurrence of shorts on fine pitch components.
