The PDR IR-C3  Chipmate is designed specifically for the removal and replacment of SMT components and connectors when high-end optical placement systems are not required. The system easily tackles a wide variety of Surface Mount Components without Air Nozzles nor unnecessary adjacent component touch up work. Create and store Profiles with dual closed feedback precision,  or use the system in manual mode to tackle tough rework jobs. The IR-C3 chipmate incorporates the same "Focused" IR technology found in PDR's high-end Rework Systems. Visibly see where heat is being applied every reflow operation with PDR Focused IR. The PDR IR-C3 is equipped with a high-efficiency/high output 2kw PCB Pre-heater, or can be equipped with a 750W Pre-Heater version for small board rework. Designed to sucessfully rework small to medium sized PCB's up to 12"x10" / 304mmx254mm (optional larger formats available), the PDR IR-C3 is equipped with a portable PCB fixturing system for convenient relocation of your PCB when performing inspection and/or other activities such as board prep. or testing. Temperature Sensing - K type:  The PDR IR-C3 incorporates both contact and Non-Contact IR sensors made in the USA/Germany and are specified by PDR for accuracy and durablility when under themal stress. PDR sensors are manufactured with the highest quality lenses, thermal junctions, and internal electronics that are optimized for the rework environment.
