SUN-TEC stands for Ready-to-process transparent SMD & LED films, for LED Profiles & for Electronic Manufactoring Services. SUN-TEC Transparent SMD Inserts may be used for industrial applications in combination with translucent, transparent or perforated base materials like Polycarbonates, Acrylics, Glass, Wood or Stones. Final products like LED Glass or electric powered glass are the base for light innovation and future designs.SUN-TEC Transparent SMD Inserts may be also used for architectural applications in combination with translucent, transparent or perforated panes of differentmaterials like glass, stones, wood or polymers. SUN-TEC has developed its own cold curing, solvent free contact glues to be able to pick and place SMD systems on heat sensitive substrates. That is why SUN-TEC's Electronic Manufacturing Services (Electronic Contract Manufacturing) for flexible, heat sensitive substrates has reached a very high reliability. SUN-TEC may mount SMD electronics on touch sensitive inserts, like Dynasim from Algra. These inserts are usually pressure/temperature laminated between Aluminum and Polymeric materials at temperatures below 125 °C. SMD LEDsmust be seccured by spacers, which are thicker than the SMD elements on the film.
