ViTrox’s V810 3DI n-Line Advanced X-Ray Inspection System (AXI) is the winner of the prestigious Global T echnology Award 2012 and N PI Awards 2012, where it has been considered as the fastest and best test coverage AXI system in the world. It is also known as the latest revolution in X-ray technology inspecting double-sided PCBA panels with high defect coverage, high inspection speed and an excellent call rate.
The system is designed for in-line and offline use, and works on both lead and leadfree solder joints. T he V810’s state-of-the-art technology is based on Digital Tomosynthesis methodology and runs on a new platform with Windows 7 Professional 64bit.
The V810 AXI now comes with Phase Shift Profilometry, a ViTrox patented technology for warpage compensation and 100% through-hole component PCBAs. Additionally, to serve market demands for small scale component inspection, the V810 AXI is now equipped with Variable Magnification at 11 and 19 microns to provide end-users with better magnified images and resolution on small components such as 01005s and .2 mm CSPs.
The V810 AXI is capable of detecting many types of defects including shorts, opens, missing components, non-wetting, billboards, tombstones, lifted leads, solder balls, voiding, insufficient solder, reversed tantalum capacitor and excess solder.
