Inline test system for incircuit and functional tests with Teradyne measuring equipment

ENGMATEC presented for the first time a test handler with integrated Test Station Inline TSi from Teradyne.

On request of the Boston company Teradyne, a test handler was developed where the test system, the power supplies and the control PCs are completely inside the equipment. The very compact design allows extremely space-saving use of the equipment.

In this innovative solution, test system TSi is positioned directly below the contacting unit on a lifting unit with firmly screwed "link modules" connecting the test system by a pneumatic lift with the horizontal interface of the test adapter. Contrary to competitive products, no cabling is required. Only the test adapter has short wire connections. Adapting the interface with vacuum is not required.

The lifting unit is moved only when the test adapter is changed and otherwise remains idle. The short set-up time and the easy-to-operate lock typical for the test handler are maintained.
The control PCs, power supply and test system are easily accessible from the front and the rear.

The ENGMATEC test handler ETH can be universally used for many contacting tasks, e.g. ICT, functional test, flashing, optical inspection or HF test.
