Aqua Klean Systems introduces the Typhoon T-8 Chemistry Zero-Discharge Cleaner, a new way to clean RMA, No-Clean, and Water Soluble (OA) fluxes. The T-8 incorporates an adjustable chemical injection pump to assist in keeping chemical wash concentration consistent. The T-8 also incorporates a dynamic air blow-off design allowing a water free chemical isolation. The T-8’s 15 HP wash pump and Aqua Klean’s proprietary nozzle configurations allow circuit boards to get the correct flooding and impingement needed to solubilize flux residues.

Once the Circuit boards have been cleaned in the T-8, they can be rinsed and dried in the attached Typhoon (T-9 or T-15) cleaner.

Standard features of the T-8 Chemistry Typhoon include a full 24" usable belt, 10 HP chemical isolation blow-off blower, and touch-screen control. At only 8' long, it can be attached to any water-soluble inline cleaner, including any of our Typhoon Water Soluble Cleaners. Also included in the T-8 Chemistry Typhoon are the industry's safest smart heater, quick adjustable pressure valves, easy to access front drain valves, eye-level electric box for easy maintenance, and a easy to operate touchscreen software interface.

Constructed from either a light grey textured or white smooth polypropylene material, the Typhoon is rugged and will keep looking great for years to come. Added to the front of the machine is a black anodized diamond plate doors and trim. This adds surface protection to the most accessed areas by operators and maintenance personnel. Pressures are easily adjustable and confirmed, since the Typhoon cleaner includes analog pressure gauges by the adjustable valves. Conveyor motor, wash pump, and dry blower are all easily accessible, giving maintenance personnel plenty of elbow room to properly maintain and qualify the Typhoon cleaner.

The Typhoon cleaner is equipped with an easy to use touch screen interface. With a touch of the finger, the operator is able to turn features on and off, set temperature values, and set conveyor speed. The touchscreen also displays flow rate and resistivity to the final rinse, top and bottom pressure readings in all wash and rinse sections, and dry compartment temperature. Another exiting feature is the Typhoon's ability to Auto Start the entire machine automatically. With a single touch of a button, the Typhoon's conveyor motor, pumps, and blowers turn on sequentially, making the Typhoon very easy to operate. To complete the touchscreen experience are two additional features: recipe support to easily store and retrieve settings, and statistical screens which shows chart data for temperatures, conveyor speed, DI water quality, and more.
