Serving as a focal point for ESD standards development, EOS/ESD Association standards and specifications provide the guidance that companies need to get their ESD control programs off and running. As an ANSI recognized standards development organization, the EOS/ESD Association has published more than seventy documents covering electrostatic discharge in the electronics environment. These include standards, standard test methods, standard practices, technical reports, and informational advisory documents.

More than 100 volunteers work on standards projects, including cooperative efforts with JEDEC, U.S. military agencies and governmental units, and European standards development bodies. Representing diverse interests, these volunteers work to define effective standards and guidelines applicable to the electronics industry.
