NASA Manufacturing Technology Transfer Center (NMTTC)

The NMTTC is NASA's East coast workmanship training center. We provide training to operators, instructors, engineers and anyone else who is under contract to provide high-reliability electronics hardware to their customers.

Standards Setting / Certification

We are committed to providing critical workmanship training to our aerospace and commercial customers. Our staff can assist you in ensuring that your organization’s hardware fabrication capabilities are current and meet your customer requirements.

Located at the Goddard Corporate Park (GCP) at 7535 Mission Drive, Lanham MD, we are committed to providing critical workmanship training to our aerospace and commercial customers. NMTTC staff can assist you in ensuring that your organization’s hardware fabrication capabilities are current and meet your customer requirements.

Our student to teacher ratio is 8 to 1 providing a personalized learning environment.

IPC course training, retraining and challenge testing are now available for IPC Specialists and IPC Trainers.

Training is available for the NASA-STD-8739 Workmanship Standards series. Each course is available as initial training and retraining to the Operator, Inspector, or Supplier Level B Instructor levels.

Our course content includes presentation, video, instructor demonstrations, student hands-on practical exercises, and written examinations.
