Single & Double Layer PCB - Jhdpcb Description:
The material of the base plate is usually aluminum or fiberglass, and the core material is basically a fiberglass cloth reinforced with epoxy resin. Manufacturers glue thin copper foil to the top or sides of the core to form the copper cladding. A single-layer PCB has only one layer of copper, while a double-sided PCB is covered with copper on both sides. The copper layer will be covered with a solder mask to prevent oxidation of the copper. The strength or stiffness of a printed circuit board comes from the core wires and the substrate. Different substrates constitute different PCB types, such as aluminum PCB or LED PCB, MCPCB, high TG PCB, FR-4 PCB, Heavy Copper pcb, CEM-3 PCB, etc.
