Richardson, TX (September 9, 2008) With its new licensing arrangement, the capabilities of ASSET InterTech's MicroMaster e-JTAG CPU emulation functional test and debug system can be flexibly deployed by global enterprises so that engineers have access to the system's capabilities anywhere and at any time. Moreover, MicroMaster can now be flexibly configured with the capabilities required at critical phases in a product's life cycle, beginning with development, moving into manufacturing and culminating in field service and repair.
ASSET InterTech (www.asset-intertech.com) is the leading supplier of open tools for embedded instrumentation.
"By doing this, we are bringing MicroMaster's capabilities in alignment with our ScanWorks boundary scan structural test system," said Larry Osborn, ASSET's MicroMaster product manager. "The two systems complement each other quite effectively and offer engineers greater test coverage when they are used in tandem. Now, the two systems share a licensing scheme that provides easier deployment of the two tools together and simpler deployment of MicroMaster on its own."
The MicroMaster network license is available in two configurations, network campus and network worldwide. In addition, MicroMaster's capabilities have been bundled into three different configurations to more closely match how the system is employed during various phases of a product's life-cycle. Similarly to ScanWorks, MicroMaster is now available as a Development Station, a Manufacturing Station and as a Diagnostic and Repair Station.
Pricing and Availability
Single-user and network licenses for MicroMaster are available now. Depending on the configuration of the system, pricing starts at $4,997 for a single-user license.
ASSET InterTech Driving Embedded Instrumentation
ASSET InterTech is a supplier of open tools for embedded instrumentation to engineers doing design validation, test and debug. The ScanWorks platform provides automation, access and analysis tools in one environment. Users can quickly and easily validate and test semiconductors, circuit boards or entire systems during every phase of a product's life, including design, manufacturing/repair and field maintenance. In addition, chips can be programmed in-system after they have been soldered to a circuit board. ASSET's MicroMaster product line employs CPU emulation technology to perform extensive functional test and diagnostic routines on circuit boards and chips, and to program logic and memory devices in-system at high CPU speeds. ASSET InterTech is located outside of Dallas, TX, at 2201 North Central Expressway, Suite 105, Richardson, TX 75080.
