Generic Custom Test Interface Fixture Rated to 2100 Vdc, CB8H For Panel- and Cable-Mounted Connectors, and LIF Test Blocks

Rated to 2100 Vdc/1200 Vdc, the CB8H fits all CableEye testers. Connectors not included. Customization service is available.

Displayed on any sized screen you desire, the color-coded graphic-rich display provides clarity and, at the click of a button, you may visualize the wiring schematically or by netlist. Components are automatically detected and displayed (including Diode orientation), wiring faults are color-coded, and full measurement data is provided for every pin-to-pin connection.

CAMI Develops Capability of Checking Twist Pair Relationships in Cables as Short as Six Feet

Aug 21, 2018 | Celebrating its 25th anniversary, CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA), manufacturer of the CableEye automation-ready cable and harness test system, has developed the capability of checking and measuring twist pair relationships in cables as short as six feet. This feature is now standard in the model M4 low voltage continuity tester, and available as an option for HiPot (HVX-series) testers. The same circuitry allows for measuring cable length, length to break, capacitance, and resistance with precision (4-wire).

When pre-populated boards are used, the tester GUI automatically displays a graphic of the connectors and wiring under test. The tester can be readily programmed to do the same for custom boards and fixtures. With a single click, the wiring schematic can be switched to a customizable netlist view which can be set to display wiring colors as shown in photo.

As a free-standing, quick-release board fixture, it allows users to connect CAMI's test interface boards to the 64-pin headers of any expansion module - even at some distance. The housing may be used with any CableEye model and is rated to 2100 Vdc / 1500 Vac.

Populated with solder pads to accept both aligned and staggered, 1.25mm and 1.5mm pitch, surface mount and through hole (TH) connectors, the board addresses any market with a demand for board-to-board connections. Rated to 700Vdc/500Vac, the CB51 may be used on all CableEye models.

The CB51, sold without connectors, contains four sets of 60 solder pads accommodating numerous configurations of surface mount and TH connectors – aligned or staggered pins at 1.25mmm and 1.5mm pitch.
