Nov 03, 2011 The SMTA is pleased to announce its election results for the Board of Directors for the term that began at SMTA International (October 16-20, 2011).
Raiyomand Aspandiar, Ph.D., Intel Corporation, and Scott Priore, Cisco Systems, Inc., were elected to the Planning Committee. Hal Hendrickson, Nordson DAGE was re-elected and continues to serve as Treasurer.
Those remaining on the SMTA Board of Directors include: President, Dan Baldwin, Engent Inc.; VP Technical Programs, Marie Cole, IBM; VP Communications, Tom Forsythe, Kyzen Corporation; VP Membership, Roy Starks, Libra Industries; Treasurer, Hal Hendrickson, Nordson DAGE; and Secretary Michelle Ogihara, Seika Machinery, Inc. Planning Committee members include: Chair, Jeff Kennedy, Celestica, Inc.; Raiyomand Aspandiar, Ph.D., Intel Corporation; Denis Barbini, Universal Instruments; Scott Priore, Cisco Systems, Inc.; David Steele, Da-Tech Corporation; and Brian Toleno, Henkel Corporation.
The SMTA bids a fond farewell to departing Directors Ning-Cheng Lee, Ph.D., Indium Corporation and Kola Akinade, Cisco Systems, Inc. They are congratulated for a job well done and given thanks for the years of dedication to the SMTA.
