ACD Named to the 2012 Fast Tech Listing Recognized as a Fastest Growing Technology Company in North Texas by MTBC

Oct 03, 2012

ACD, a leading supplier to the electronics industry, was named to the 2012 Fast Tech listing, appearing in the #23 spot. Fast Tech honors the fastest growing technology companies in North Texas based on three-year revenue growth and is part of the Metroplex Technology Business Council’s Tech Titans Awards Gala. The company’s final rank was announced at the Tech Titans Gala on August 24, with the Fast Tech listing being published in a special section of the Dallas Business Journal on August 31. Fast Tech is sponsored by TravisWolff and Comerica Bank.

We are pleased to be recognized as a Fast Tech company,” said W. Scott Fillebrown, President & CEO of ACD. “What a great honor to receive this not just once, but eight times! It is nice to see our commitment to our customers, employees and our dedication to increasing our technical capability honored in a public way.”

In its 12th year, the Fast Tech Award honors the 35 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Company rank is based on revenue growth from 2009 to 2011. To be considered for the listing, nominations are submitted to the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC) or to the Dallas Business Journal. Independent research using publicly available information is conducted by TravisWolff and Comerica Bank.

For more than 27 years, ACD has supported the printed circuit board (PCB) industry in a variety of ways; from design to laser photoplotting, to supporting engineering software to final test. The company has the background to offer its customers the support required to get products to market as quickly as possible.

At the MTBC, we keep our eyes on what is happening in the tech industry in North Texas,” stated Bill Sproull, president and CEO of the MTBC. “These fast growing companies are doing exciting things, and we're looking forward to seeing how they benefit our tech community and North Texas as a whole in the coming years.”
