The Adept Quattro was selected in part for its 1.3 meter work envelope, high-speed vision-guided performance, and conveyor tracking intelligence - enabling higher yields and expanded capacity from minimal floor space.
The Adept Quattro s650 robot utilizes a patented 4-link parallel drive and carbon fiber construction to provide packaging cycle times which are up to twice as fast as conventional packaging robots. It is also the world's first packaging robot to integrate the controls inside the robot, virtually eliminating external controls cabinets saving valuable factory floor space and simplifying installation.
"This order for over 100 Quattro robots from a leading European manufacturer is a very significant milestone for Adept," said John Dulchinos, president & COO of Adept Technology, Inc. "It validates the Quattro robot's capabilities and market acceptance, and positions Adept as a leader in high speed packaging and handling applications."
