Kerry Ultrasonics will show low-solvent-consumption Microsolve cleaning systems and the Microclean aqueous range alongside other new products at Nepcon 2003.
Using environmentally safe solvents such as HFE and HFC, Microsolve machines offer two-stage, multiple-frequency ultrasonic cleaning, rinsing and drying for pcb defluxing (including no-clean and lead-free residues), cleaning of precision parts and metal degreasing.
Latest options include a Superheat facility to ensure thorough drying of difficult components, and a solvent monitoring/auto top-up feature which enables Kerry to guarantee low solvent usage.
For aqueous wash applications, the Microclean series provides four-stage ultrasonic cleaning, closed-loop high-purity water rinsing and hot air drying.
The Microclean SC1000 is a fully automated spray wash and DI water rinse system with warm air drying designed specifically for cleaning solder paste stencils.
Also on display will be an Autotrans Mini work transporter, microprocessor-controlled Pulsatron MKC and KS ultrasonic cleaning tanks and Sonopush rod-type ultrasonic transducers.
