Cogiscan and Brady to Hold Traceability Webinar

Jun 08, 2014

Cogiscan Inc., the leading track, trace and control solutions provider for the electronics manufacturing industry, and Brady, a leading provider of identification solutions and services, today announced plans for a joint Webinar entitled,  “The cost of an ineffective traceability system.” The Webinar will take place Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. CDT.

Traceability systems drive several key benefits for manufacturers, including production cost savings, improved quality, lowered warranty costs and quicker reaction time to customer requests.  While traceability in electronics is not a new topic, organizations often struggle with determining what level of implementation aligns with both financial and data retrieving needs.

Process experts from Cogiscan and Brady will discuss how organizations can benefit from the improved visibility provided by an effective traceability system. The webinar includes four parts:

  • Part 1: What is Traceability? Drivers for Implementation & Benefits
  • Part 2: Key Considerations – Data Processes, Common   Hardware & Software Components
  • Part 3: What Carries the Data? Labels, Direct Marking & RFID Marking Components
  • Part 4: Questions
