SMT Resource Group LLC, a reseller and integrator of both new and refurbished electronics assembly equipment, announces the appointment of John Cooley as Manager of Global Sales.
John Cooley has worked in the Printed Circuit Assembly industry starting in 1984 in a variety of regional and global roles including sales, management, marketing, customer service, and applications. He spent nearly 15 years with Universal Instruments and later as Manager of the Global Key Account then National Sales Manager at Siemens. He also worked in a sales management role for then startup, Endicott Interconnect Technologies, an off shoot of IBM. Since joining the SMT Resource team, he has been the leading sales contributor.
The addition of John's experience will complete SMTR's expertise with all major SMT equipment suppliers, which enables SMTR to offer Best in Class Integration of mixed brand equipment, both used and new, into SMT lines.
