Feb 18, 2015 NEPCON China 2015 will take place in Hall 1 of Shanghai Expo Center from 21 to 23 April 2015. The event will feature the latest technologies and products in SMT, surface welding, electronic measurement, automatic electronic production, static electricity prevention, and new materials.
As a world-leading electronics manufacturing event, NEPCON China 2015 will feature a new electronic materials zone. Complementing the new electronic materials forum, the showcase will offer an effective commercial platform for electronic raw materials, combining welding materials, adhesives and detergents, as well as related products and technologies.
To serve exhibitors and visitors alike, and to improve onsite services, the organizers conducted a survey with a sample made up of visitors and exhibitors of previous events. Altogether 104 visitors from production, engineering, technology, procurement, equipment and quality assurance fields took part in the survey, whose results showed that welding materials are most sought-after by visitors. Detergents, reducing agents and adhesives have roughly the same number of enthusiasts.
Currently, all materials are enjoying more or less the same stable market conditions. Notably, fungus resistant, moisture-proof, and salt-fog resistant products are garnering increased interest, suggesting a potential new industry trend. Through the questionnaire, most visitors confirmed that attending onsite events remained a key method for equipment and materials procurement. They also confirmed that they were willing to receive updates from research institutes, materials suppliers and industry associations.
The survey findings suggest that company executives, R&D personnel and procurement managers are most sought-after by exhibitors. These are the same professionals identified as key procurement decision makers in a visitor survey, as they represent the majority of trade visitors at NEPCON. Most exhibitors showed major interest in the new electronic materials forum set for NEPCON 2015 and believe it will be a good exchange platform.
The new electronic materials forum will take place on the first day of NEPCON China 2015 (21 April). The forum will bring together about 150 participants, including R&D professionals, project managers, technical support, procurement/marketing/sales experts, and media professionals, to discuss a wide range of issues involving consumer electronics, home appliances, electronics manufacturing services / original design / original equipment, telecommunication, automobile electronics, computer system/peripherals makers, control/safety/test service, LED, avionics, and military electronics.
