Carlsbad, CA: Machine Vision Products today announced it would be demonstrating the Ultra 850G Packaging and MicroElectronics AOI solution at the Semicon West 2011 exhibition. The exhibition is at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from July 12-14 2011. Machine Vision Products are exhibiting at booth #5368 in the North Hall.

The Ultra 850G is the latest addition to MVP's industry-leading line of Automated Optical Inspection tools. The system is configurable to be deployed in all aspects of the packaging, die or microelectronic processes to provide full die metrology, full BGA ball metrology, and full 3D inspection. Using unique combinational 2D and 3D technologies the Ultra 850G can also provide inspection for both Wire Bond and Wire Loop Height. With resolution and repeatability a critical factor, the Ultra 850G can be configured to provide 1um pixel size.

The 850G is now specified with additional options for loading and unloading stations. Configuration options for each of these stations include Jedec trays and strip handling.
