 Superpower lasers are characterized by small size, light weight, high electro-optic conversion efficiency, stable performance, high reliability and long life.
At present, the low-power laser and the medium-power laser are gradually being localized, while the superpower lasers are just beginning to be localized and is accelerating.
How to improve the reliability of superpower lasers welding is an urgent technical problem.
High power laser localization acceleration start
In recent years, driven by the "Made in China 2025" strategy, coupled with the excellent performance and high efficiency of laser processing itself, China's laser industry has achieved rapid development. Among them, the laser is the core component of the laser processing equipment, is the component with the highest technical content in the laser equipment, and occupies a core position in the laser industry chain.
The laser market in our country started late, but with the continuous breakthrough of the core laser technology, the expansion of the application field, and the gradual decline in the production cost, the laser industry is breaking the import-dominated pattern and gradually realizing localization.
At present, the industrialization of low power laser and medium power laser has been preliminarily realized.
The data shows that the localization rate of low-power laser in China has reached more than 93%, and that of medium-power laser is more than 65%.
By contrast, the road to localization of high-power lasers is just beginning.
Data show that the market size of high-power lasers in China is close to 3 billion yuan in 2018, but the localization rate is only 13.6%.
In such a broad market prospect, the domestic laser industry is also speeding up the pace of localization of high-power lasers.
Among them, fiber laser, as the third generation of laser, with high efficiency and low maintenance cost, is gradually replacing the traditional solid state laser and CO2 laser in many fields, becoming the future development direction of the laser industry.
At present, the high-power fiber laser has made great progress in high-power laser. 2001,Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences took the lead in theoretical and experimental research of high-power optical fiber laser technology in China. Subsequently, many units such as tsinghua university, national university of defense technology, xi 'an optical machinery institute, ruike, chuangxin and feibo also realized the output of kilowatt and 10,000-watt laser.At present, the power of industrialized high-power fiber laser has reached the level of 10,000 watts.
It is necessary to introduce vacuum reflow furnace technology to ensure high reliability
Although the development momentum of high power laser is strong, there are still many bottlenecks to be broken.
In addition to the basic problems such as extremely scarce r&d talents and large investment in r&d, how to ensure high power while ensuring high reliability has become an important research topic in the development of high-power lasers.
The sharp increase of laser power will lead to the decrease of its reliability and shorten its working life.
At the same time, because the overall structure of the high-power laser is more complex, it needs more reliable packaging technology.
Problems such as solder voids caused by inadequate packaging technology will greatly affect the reliability of high-power lasers.
In order to ensure the reliability of superpower laser and meet the above higher level of welding technology requirements, it is understood that some enterprises and institutions in the industry have introduced vacuum reflow welding technology.
In particular, some well-known enterprises in the power laser industry have introduced the special vacuum return furnace for high power laser developed by Beijing TORCH, and achieved good results.
