At PCB Test Exhibition & Seminar - 'ElectroTestExpo 2014'
The ‘ElectroTestExpo’ consortium is pleased to announce a new attraction for visitors attending the regional PCB test and debug exhibition to be held at Cambridge Science Park on June 18th 2014.
All registered visitors will be eligible to enter a draw for a free Digital Storage Oscilloscope kindly donated by Tektronix UK. The TBS1000 will be won by a visitor who will be able to take the instrument home (or work!) on the day.
Now enjoying its fifth consecutive year of free-to-attend events, ElectroTestExpo presents its unique combination of drop-in tabletop exhibition and seminar on June 18th at one of the UK’s main electronics and research hubs – the Cambridge Science Park (the Trinity Centre).
The event will feature a program of short talks by industry experts tackling a range of topics in an easily accessible, relaxed environment. Exhibitors currently include Tektronix, Marvin Test Solutions, Amfax, JTAG Technologies, Aeroflex, Test Solutions Ltd, MAC Panel, Pico Technology, Cimbian, Aster Technologies, TestWorks and Pickering Interfaces. A free buffet lunch will be provided for all visitors, together with complementary beverages throughout the day.
Speaking on behalf of the consortium, Nick Hickford (Pickering Interfaces) commented "Following two successful 2013 shows where we met a large number of PCB test and manufacturing professionals at some fascinating venues, this year we are returning to Cambridge - a ‘home from home’ for scientists and engineers. We expect a good attendance from the electronics community eager to learn about the industry’s latest developments". The venue will provide separate exhibition space and a seminar room that will allow the vendor-appointed speakers to discuss the latest trends in their industry sector. A schedule for the 30 minute talks will be posted on the event web-site www.electrotestexpo.co.uk. The event is open to all bone fide electronic engineering professionals.
ElectroTestExpo is an ‘ad hoc’ consortium of like-minded T&M and ATE companies looking to involve their customers in an interesting yet informal manner. By combining resources the consortium expects that test and design-engineering professionals will gain knowledge and ideas to further enhance their abilities at work. The ElectroTestExpo is run on a not-for-profit basis by the combined efforts of the consortium sales and marketing teams. For further details please email: info@electrotestexpo.co.uk.
