Analog Input Module
The analog input module (AIN) is a key subsystem in the programmable logic controller (PLC). AINs come in many variations to condition real word physical parameters, such as temperature, pressure, force, or strain. Typically, these AIN inputs are command signals in both voltage (e.g., around 10V) and current form (4 to 20mA).
A Multi-Channel AIN is often preferred for its flexibility, space efficiency and power efficiency when compared to many single-channel, dedicated input modules. Multi channels share processing, analog inputs, backplane power and communication.

Input Module for Binary Signals
The input module is used to connect contacts and electronic module outputs. The module transfers the binary input signals in the form of telegrams. The telegrams are monitored and provided with parity bits before transfer. This ensures monitoring for error-free transfer on the part of the receiving module.

Hydraulic Transducer
Hydraulic pressure transducers which are a subset of pressure sensors can be any number of devices that sample and record the pressure in a system. A pressure transducer is unique from gauge sensing in that it converts a pressure measurement into an analog electrical output signal, which can be used by sensing instrumentation such as microprocessors and computers. Most often, this is accomplished simply, via physical deformation or mechanical deflection. Important criteria to consider when selecting a pressure transducer are the general mechanism type, input and output, and performance specifications.
