MW Associates, a global all-electronics marketing and electronics assembly consultancy agency, announces that its President, Megan Wendling, received the Councilor of the Year Award from SMTA China for the sixth consecutive year. The award was presented during SMTA China’s annual awards presentation held in conjunction with its annual Breakfast Reception and Recognition Ceremony, which took place on April 26, 2012 at the Shanghai Expo Intercontinental Hotel during NEPCON China in Shanghai.
Megan continuously supports SMTA China’s events as well as actively promoting SMTA China conferences, events and technical seminars globally and has done so for many years.
Megan’s role as Advisory Council member of SMTA China is to advise the chapter’s executive committee on proficiency matters as well as public relations for the SMTA chapters and council.
Megan received this award because of her exceptional support of the SMTA. This award is based on MW Associates’ contributions to the SMTA, including attendance at technical programs, support of chapter and/or national leaders, encouragement and support of participating members, and more.
