Fuji has just released its newest automation unit, the Auto Head Cleaner. This unit allows you to automatically clean heads offline and can be used to clean any of the rotary placing heads from the NXT and AIMEX series machines.
Head maintenance is essential for ensuring good operation rates and high quality. Using the Auto Head Cleaner allows you to perform this vital work automatically from a simple-to-use menu. You can reduce the work time for cleaning heads by two thirds compared to manual cleaning. This allows you to save labor and time. In addition, by automating this work, you eliminate the variance in cleaning between different operators and get stable cleaning results all the time. Fuji’s easy head exchange system means spare heads can be used to quickly restart production. Meanwhile, the removed head can be cleaned offline. This allows you to maintain a high operation rate for your lines while always keeping them in their best shape.
The Auto Head Cleaner has an inspection function that allows it to automatically determine the cleaning results by measuring the air flow and pressure in heads and checking the timing of the different head axes. The unit also informs operators when it is time to replace the filter in the unit based on its usage and when it is time to replenish the oil supply used for cleaning. This means that the unit always maintains itself in optimum condition.
