ACD, a leading supplier to the electronics industry, announces the promotion of Tim Tsui to Director of Manufacturing Operations. All of ACD’s assembly operations will now report to Tim, from supply chain through test.
Tim remains responsible for the development of new processes while maintaining current processes. He oversees the generation of shop documentation, e.g. routes (travelers), assembly drawings, machine programming, tooling, etc., and produce daily shop process supports. Additionally, he interfaces with customers regarding process related concerns, queries, CARs and REPs and support all customer process requirements and requests.
Tim has worked as ACD’s International Production Manager for more than two years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a progressive approach toward technology and process. Tim advocates teamwork, communications, quality and meeting schedules. He uses cost analysis, SPC and data to provide guidance in making decisions. He holds a BSIE degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
