Scale up! With the all new EKRA SERIO 4000 Platform
Scale up your solder paste printing with the revolutionary SERIO 4000 printer. This new printer platform from EKRA was engineered from the ground up to meet the highest demands of today’s high density designs, while optimizing cost. The dynamic scalability potential of this platform, through field upgradeability of all options, ensures future-proof flexibility in production.
The SERIO 4000 platform grows with the task and can be adapted to carry out a vast range of applications, from simple to complex. The printer processes boards up to 20”x20” and accepts stencils from 18”x18” to 31.5”x35.5”, all with a repeatability ± 12.5 µm @ 6 Sigma. Notable features include EKRA’s iROCS oscillating stencil cleaning system, iQUESS quick squeegee mount and Simplex touchscreen software interface. The new printer is characterized by simple design, first class engineering and an unbeatable price/performance ratio.
The new iPAG-JET Dispenser
The next generation of in-printer dispensing has arrived! The iPAG-JET is capable of dispensing twenty 500µm glue dots in just 6 seconds. The small dot size and high speed make it ideal for dispensing adhesive in fine pitch applications. ASYS will hold live dispensing demonstrations on the X5 Professional printer platform at the show.
PULSE - Mobile Line Assist
Have you ever wished you could see the status of your SMT line equipment at-a-glance in one place? You now can, with the ASYS PULSE Mobile Line Assistant, which allows you to monitor the status of all your handling systems, as well as load new programs all from a tablet. With this innovative line concept, ASYS not only shows the future of manufacturing but also makes the first important step towards Industry 4.0.
ASYS will host live demos of the EKRA X5 Printer working together with a selection of VEGO handling equipment. This pioneering technology utilizes a tablet to provide the operator with a clear overview of all the essential functions for the machines within the line, which in turn guarantees optimum line availability.
DIVISIO Depaneling unit with Simplex = making it simple
The SIMPLEX touchscreen HMI interface was developed by ASYS to control and monitor highly complex machines. Operation of the DIVISIO depaneling systems has now been simplified through the implementation of the SIMPLEX interface. Functions such as the assignment of cutting tools or programs are now interactive and can now be simply carried out via drag and drop.
DIVISIO 2100 will be shown at this year’s Apex show outfitted with the Magnetic Pin Placement and SIMPLEX touchscreen interface, which facilitates cut inspection and SPC capabilities. Additional router features include a high resolution camera, which allows control accuracy of +/- 10um, while an automatic machine sleep mode saves energy while the machine is idle.
Additionally, ASYS will show the DIVISIO 1000 Easy Duo router, which is the ideal entry-level machine for low-stress, automatic PCB depaneling applications. The machine design includes two loading drawers, linear motor gantries and a host of standard features including a camera system, fiducial recognition and camera assisted program generation.
INSIGNUM 4000 High Speed Laser Marking
Rounding out the company’s show offering is the INSIGNUM 4000 Laser Marker marking system, with its ability to mark multi-up boards at high speeds with Text, Barcodes and DMC Codes. Live laser marking demonstrations will also be held on the INSIGNUM 4000.
