Higher Production Volume
The patented Synchro concept, an innovative highlight of the new selective soldering system SEHO SelectLine, guarantees maximum throughput. Typically, to increase production volume, additional soldering modules need to be added, or the machine has to be equipped with a dual conveyor to allow parallel processing of boards. These measures, of course, are associated with a large investment in equipment. The Synchro concept is an intelligent software feature that coordinates the soldering process for two PCBs in such a way that the total throughput is nearly doubled without the need for significant investment. The assemblies can enter the soldering area independently and are not linked to the same cycle. With the new Synchro concept, cycle times can be reduced by nearly 50%.

Innovations from SEHO focus on one point: to increase the system's productivity. This also includes reduction of maintenance times.
The automatic ultrasonic cleaning for wetted miniwave solder nozzles is a unique new feature, patented by SEHO. Previously, cleaning had to be done manually using aggressive chemicals, but now the machine can complete this in an automatic and environmentally friendly way. With the ultrasonic cleaning unit, the liquid solder is set into oscillation which then gently cleans the surface of the nozzle. Using the existing inert atmosphere, the surface is completely re-wetted and the solder nozzle is restored to its original state. Besides a longer lifetime of the solder nozzles, this unique feature provides an absolutely stable process and significant time savings in terms of maintenance.
Another new feature for conventional wave soldering systems reduces maintenance, thus increasing productivity. An innovative process gas cleaning system actively extracts the contaminated process gas from the tunnel and ensures, using up-to-date, water-supported cyclone technology, an effective condensation of suspended particles and dirt. Afterwards, the cleaned process gas is returned behind the soldering area without any loss of nitrogen atmosphere.
Besides remarkably higher machine availability, this new system can also positively influence the process as the cooling down of assemblies occurs faster.
