Jul 18, 2016 This year’s ASCO Award for Best Business Transformation goes to the Schleuniger Group. This honor is awarded to the best and most sustainable business transformation in Switzerland.
The Schleuniger Group and its consulting agency Helbling Business Advisors AG have received a great honor: The Association of Management Consultants Switzerland (ASCO), granted the ASCO Award 2016 for Best Business Transformation to Schleuniger and Helbling. ASCO has been honoring the best and most sustainable business strategy with this annual award since 2006. Schleuniger earned the award with its The Way Forward strategy, which it developed in 2014 with the support of Helbling Business Advisors. The strategy stipulates how Schleuniger is to generate sustainable organic and inorganic growth. The organic growth is supported by numerous specifically defined initiatives that are to be implemented within clearly determined deadlines.
The high-caliber jury that announced the winner of this year’s ASCO award consisted of eight representatives from the Swiss business world, most of whom are members of executive boards and boards of directors. They included, amongst others, Prof. Dr. Rudolf Minsch, Chief Economist of economiesuisse (the Swiss business association), Christiane Leister, owner of the Leister Group and Member of the Board of Directors of Leister AG, as well as Hans-Peter Ueltschi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bernina AG.
In her laudatory speech, jury member Christiane Leister particularly emphasized that Schleuniger has gained fast and impressive benefits from its The Way Forward strategy. She explained that the quantitative and qualitative achievements are transparent and traceable.
The prestige this award becomes apparent when glancing at of some of the previous winners: these include UBS, F. Hoffmann La-Roche, Siemens Building Technologies, the Kistler Instrumente AG, which, like Schleuniger, is active in the automotive sector, as well as other major players. Schleuniger CEO, Christoph Schüpbach, said that the award represents an impressive affirmation that with its The Way Forward strategy, his company is on the right course for sustainable and profitable growth. “I believe that the award will encourage us to pursue the defined path with even more consistency and, in particular, to implement the individual initiatives of our product-market strategy as planned and within schedule,” Christoph Schüpbach emphasized.
