The specialist for adhesive bonding, dispensing and potting technology will be part of the Atlas Copco Group in the future. Scheugenpflug will be integrated as an independent company into the "Industrial Assembly Solutions" (IAS) division of Atlas Copco.
Neustadt/Donau, October 25, 2019: Scheugenpflug AG will be part of the Swedish Atlas Copco Group in the future. A corresponding agreement was signed on October 24, 2019. Since its founding in 1873, Atlas Copco has developed into a leading international provider of industrial productivity solutions. The Group's products and services include compressors and vacuum solutions as well as generators, power tools, assembly systems, dispensing and joining solutions and related services. Atlas Copco currently employs approximately 37,000 people and supports customers in over 180 countries.
Independent brand within the Atlas Copco IAS division
In the future, the specialist for adhesive bonding, dispensing and potting technology will operate as an independent company within Atlas Copco's "Industrial Assembly Solutions" (IAS) division. The existing management will continue to drive Scheugenpflug's business and the brand name will remain. The acquisition is still subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020.
