The show will provide design engineers, manufacturing engineers, manufacturing managers, and purchasers their best opportunity of the year to meet local and national job shops and contract manufacturers to source custom parts, components, services, and design. Over 150 of the finest contract manufacturing companies are expected to exhibit their design-through-manufacturing services covering more than 300 product categories for the metals, plastics, rubber, and electronics industries. The show will be the region’s largest gathering of the nation’s finest suppliers under one roof.
“The New York metropolitan area and northern New Jersey in particular are very active areas for manufacturing,” said Jerry Schmidt, President of TJSC, producers of the Design-2-Part Shows. “With the significant amount of manufacturing activity in the region along with a long list of current exhibiting customers looking for face-to-face business opportunities there makes us very excited that we were able to add this show to our 2010 schedule.”

Although many of the exhibiting companies will be regional suppliers, located within 200 miles of Secaucus, several will be national companies that offer manufacturing techniques and services
that may not be readily available in the region. With such a diverse array of leading-edge suppliers and capabilities available, visitors are bound to find suppliers for current projects as well as partners for future manufacturing needs. Design-2-Part Shows are working shows and visitors are encouraged to bring sample parts and drawings.
Attendees will enjoy the convenience, comfort, and affordability of the recently renovated Meadowlands Exposition Center located five miles outside of Manhattan. Situated at the intersection of Route 3 and the eastern spur of the New Jersey Turnpike/I-95, the venue is easily accessible from both the Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The center features 6,000 free parking spaces and five major hotels within walking distance with room rates that are about one-third less than New York City rates. Exhibitors will also enjoy the facility’s liberal work regulations.
