Elcoteq opened an office in Shanghai, China

Elcoteq has opened a new office in Shanghai in order to strengthen its sales, purchasing and logistics activities in the Shanghai-Nanjing region. The main task of the new office is to emphasize Elcoteq's local presence and to improve customer and supplier relationships in the area.

Mr Seppo Pietarinen has been appointed Office & Area Sales Manager of the Shanghai office. He has more than three years' experience in China and in total four years in Asia (China, Thailand, Hongkong). Mr Ke Song Liu has been appointed Sourcing Manager responsible for local sourcing.

Previously Elcoteq has manufacturing plants in Dongguan and Beijing in China, and a customer services and after sales services center in Hong Kong. China is one of the fastest growing markets for electronics manufacturing in the world.
