OK... My problem with BTUs is that they are getting stopped up because the flux is not going from vapor form to liquid form; instead it is crystalizing (looks like a blizzard took place in the flux box and chiller boxes) and clogging up the flux box, chiller box, manifolds (top and Bottom), vent pipes on the backside, heat panels in cooler zones 1 and 2, and ultimately causing static pressure issues as well as overtemps in cooler zones 1 and 2. HELP!!! And please do not suggest calling BTU... been there, did that, they sent out help, did not help, repeated 4 or 5 times, still no help, and I am back at square one. I am thinking that the flux is getting cooled too quickly... but do not know.

You are cooling too fast, and some flux and paste is worse than others... Can you control your cooling zones? Water Temp (higher)? Or Water Flow (less, effectively less cooling)? Changing water temp is prefferable over flow if you can do it. I hate to send you back to BTU, but maybe if you call again you'll get a different guy. Ask them about this. ALSO, are you pulling the correct amount of exhaust from BOTH ends of the oven?

This has been a problem from the start. I used a digital flowmeter to check exhaust and both sides are pretty even, however, I do not know if its exhausting too much or not enough, just going on the PE specs...but then again...do they really know. I think cooling too fast is the suspect, but we are not running individual water coolers such as neslab. We are using a chiller on the roof of the plant that supplies chilled water to several ovens(do not know how many exactly... we have 49 ovens on the floor...not all are BTU, we also have Seho, Furukawa, Koki, and Vitronics.)All the Furukawas have individual chillers on the backside and they work great.

I think we can control temp... but I will have to look into it further and see. I know the ovens have flow control... but as I mentioned on the last message, our BTUs are operating off of a huge chillers on the roof of the plant.(once again, not sure how many oven to one chiller...still have much to figure out) Thanks for the help.
