Acceptability of Rj-11 Male connector

Hello All,

I am trying to find some answers regarding acceptability of a RJ-11 Connector (phone jack). We have just received thousands of these connectors in and some of the gold plate contacts show some discoloration. The contacts are pink. I was wondering if this would still be acceptable, How would this affect the product, etc. This is mainly for our QA, so they know what to look for when it gets to them. Thanks in advance for any information.
