Ok, so I have this weird thing going on with my Q18 logger. It sweats when I send it through the oven. The humidity in the plant seems to have no bearing on the sweating. Same results at 19% and 35%.

The moisture has a vinegar like odor to it. Please explain this to me.

Strange indeed. We use a Q18 and have never seen this. Is it sweating inside the thermal barrier case, i.e. you put it in the case dry and it is wet when you take it out of the case? Maybe its actually coming from the inside of your thermal barrier case although I'm not sure what would be causing that either. Try putting something else besides the Q18 in the thermal barrier case and run that through the oven to see if it also comes out sweaty.

Ya its doing it in the thermal barrier. We run it through the oven and it comes out sweaty. The thermal barrier is bone dry from the beginning. This only occurs on the first run of the day.

I don't know how it would make a difference but our logger is the slim 12 channel one.We also have a Datapaq 9000 and have never seen this happen on that unit.

Spooky....
