Hola; I have some PCBs with more than 1 year in its original package at warehouse, I'm supposed to "validate" these PCBs to be in "good shape" so they can be used, but honestly I have no idea what can I do to check them besides a visual inspection. What do I have to look for? Saludos

What is the pad surface finish on these boards? I know OSP and silver finishes have a shorter shelf life than HASL or gold. We do not use OSP or silver on our boards so I don't know what to look for visually on the pads when they have exceeded the recommended shelf life. Hopefully others on here can get you that information if needed.

I have Ag & ENIG finishes, for Ag I've seen some oxidation, specially if the bag is not sealed propperly.

Is there any real due date for PCBs?
