Fuji Flexa Part Data library sharing | 28 October, 2013

hi all,

Could anyone kindly share the part data file/library for the fuji flexa software please?

being new to this assembly world, i would like to have fewer part rejections due to part data and thus any tips/suggestions in this regards would be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

You just are not getting any respect here. I do not have Flexa in my possession, but what machines and what parts, your initial question is too vague for answers.

I am sorry for not being clear enough...

We have a FUJI CP642 and a IP3 machine. At present, we have to create part data for each and every part used in a job, which consumes a lot of time. I was just wondering if there was a way to minimize this?

also, could you please tell me the key parameters in part data that I should have for any part so that they dont get rejected by the vision system?

What you are asking is not practical. ALL parameters in the part data are key. When parts get rejected, there is an error code generated at the machine.

You need training and this is not something that is quick and easy if you have no experience.

Good Luck

Its been a couple years since I worked with Flexa every day. The program uses the part number and this should reference some shape library. If you understand the nomenclature of this library, it should get you close. I don't remember if the default library is in English or metric units, for instance a 0805 is a 2125 in metric. Often other numbers afterwards are part height, nozzle size, etc. Open some shape files and try to understand those names, it may help.
