Ultrasonic machines are often used to clean the pallets. This machine is suitable to eliminate the wax, the oil and other stains. We run our wave pallets through a batch was with chemistry and DI water, they do not come out 100% but they are much better than no washing at all. Water Soluble fluxes come off fairly easily. No clean fluxes are a pain to get off and I haven't been able to get the pallets to look clean but I can tell that the flux is mostly washed off.

Ricocel hasn't caught on much in the US yet, there is only one pallet supplier that I am aware of who uses it, Stentech. I would recommend contacting them and seeing if they have any washing recommendations or try contacting your flux supplier for wash recommendations.
