Is anyone else having troble on stupid lead times for common parts? we had something like a 52 week lead time on 250k 100nf 0603(imp) parts!

Yup same here. Tier one automotive supplier in north America.

Funny thing is the design and pre production phase for automotive products can be 3 years or more. you'd think component vendors would have enough time to adapt.
